About

Keep your sites and servers healthy without staring at dashboards: alerts when something breaks, and a short morning report on what needs care.

What it does

  • Checks your sites and services on a schedule and alerts you when one goes down or comes back
  • Tracks SSL certificate expiry for every domain and warns you ahead of time
  • Lists software with security updates waiting, ranked by risk
  • Finds the logs filling a disk and proposes a safe cleanup
  • Compares sensitive files to a known-good baseline and flags unexpected changes

What you need

  • Nothing to start: give it your sites and it checks them right away
  • Optional: limited SSH access to your servers, or run the short scripts it gives you
  • Alerts arrive in Rerun; Slack, Teams, Telegram or email can be connected when you want them there

How setup works

A status table for your sites arrives in the first minutes. Along the way it learns what to watch, who gets alerts and how it may reach your servers, then confirms the check frequency and the daily report time.

What stays in your hands

  • It shows every command before anything that restarts, deletes or changes a server, and runs it only with your go-ahead

Check the sites are up

Use when asked whether a site or service is up, to check or watch a list of addresses for downtime, and on the uptime check.

Free disk space from logs

Use when a disk is full or nearly full, after a capacity alert, or when asked to clean or rotate logs on a server.

List the updates to apply

Use when asked which software or packages need updating on a server, to review available patches, or to plan an update round.

Frequently asked questions

How often does it check if my site is up?

Every 30 minutes by default, and you choose the frequency during setup. It alerts only when a service goes down or comes back, not on every check.

Can it warn me before an SSL certificate expires?

Yes. It checks the certificate of every domain you list, including subdomains, and warns you as far ahead as you decide.

Does it need access to my servers?

Not for websites and certificates. For updates, disk space and file checks, give it a limited SSH user, or run the short script it hands you and share the output.

Will it delete logs or restart services on its own?

No. It shows the exact commands and their effect first, and runs them only after you approve.

Can I get alerts in Slack or Telegram?

Alerts arrive in Rerun by default. It can connect Slack, Teams, Telegram or email from the Rerun catalogue when you want them there.

How much does it cost to run?

The template is free. Each check uses Rerun credit, like any coworker run, so pick a frequency that fits.
