Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 August 2026
This policy explains how Reunit SA ("Rerun", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the Rerun website (https://rerun.build) and the Rerun dashboard application.
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site keep you signed in, remember settings, and support core features. Some cookies are set by us (first-party) and some are set by third-party services we use (third-party). This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage where we use them for the same purposes.
2. Cookies we use
We keep cookies to a minimum. We do not use any advertising or marketing cookies, we do not sell what we measure, and we do not track you across other websites. We do use product analytics cookies, described below, to understand how our own website and dashboard are used.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the dashboard to work and cannot be switched off. They are set by us and are not used for tracking.
| Cookie | Purpose | Set by | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-<project>-auth-token (may be split into .0 and .1) | Keeps you signed in and renews your session | Rerun (Supabase auth) | Until expiry or sign-out |
pending_invite | Completes team or invite onboarding, then removed | Rerun | Temporary, deleted after use |
These cookies are HttpOnly and, in production, Secure with SameSite set to Lax.
Preference cookies
These remember a choice you made. They contain no identifier and are set on
.rerun.build so the website and the dashboard stay consistent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Set by | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
rerun-theme | Light or dark mode | Rerun | 1 year |
rerun-ab | Which version of a page you were shown, so it does not change between visits | Rerun | 90 days |
Analytics cookies
We use PostHog, configured on its European infrastructure, to measure how our
website and dashboard are used. Analytics requests go through our own domain
rather than directly to PostHog. These cookies are set on .rerun.build, which
means the same visit is not counted twice between the website and the dashboard.
| Cookie | Purpose | Set by | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
ph_* | Distinguishes visits and sessions for product analytics | PostHog | Up to 1 year |
rr_attribution | Remembers how you first reached us (campaign, referring site) | Rerun | 90 days |
You can block these cookies in your browser without losing access to any feature of the service.
Functional cookies (third-party)
We use Crisp to provide the in-app and on-site chat support widget. When the
widget loads, Crisp may set cookies (for example to keep your conversation
history and chat state across pages). These cookies are set by Crisp on its own
domain (client.crisp.chat). See Crisp's privacy information at
https://crisp.chat/en/privacy/ for details. The chat widget is provided for
support and is not essential to using the core service.
3. Payments
When you make a payment, we use Stripe. Checkout takes place on Stripe's hosted pages, so any payment cookies are set by Stripe on its own domain, not on rerun.build. We do not load Stripe scripts on our site. See Stripe's cookie information at https://stripe.com/cookie-settings.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking cookies or clearing those already stored. Help pages for the major browsers explain how to do this. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the dashboard. Blocking preference or analytics cookies costs you nothing beyond having to set your preferences again. You can also disable the chat widget cookies by not opening the chat, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Our analytics requests are served from our own domain, so an external tracker
blocklist will not stop them. To opt out of analytics, block cookies for
rerun.build in your browser, or clear the ph_* and rr_attribution cookies
described above.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
6. Contact
For any questions about this policy or our use of cookies, contact us at help@rerun.build or by post at Reunit SA, 177 Rue de Luxembourg, L-8077 Bertrange, Luxembourg (VAT: LU19540651).
