Automate Deployments and Releases agent board

About

Ship every change the same safe way: a pipeline built for your stack, releases that say exactly what changed, and an infrastructure that does not pile up old images.

What it does

  • Writes the CI/CD workflow for your repository: lint, tests, build, deploy, secrets and approvals
  • Spins up temporary test environments per pull request and tears them down
  • Drafts release notes from everything merged since the last release, tags the version and drafts the team announcement
  • Keeps a deployment log of what went out, where and when
  • Flags containers with a newer image and old images past your retention rule

What you need

  • Nothing to start: share a public repository link, or try it on a sample app
  • GitHub, to work on private repositories, open the workflow as a pull request and draft releases (GitLab or another tool can be connected instead)

How setup works

A pipeline for your repository arrives in the first minutes. Along the way it learns how you deploy and release, connects GitHub, drafts your next release notes and confirms the weekly ops check.

What stays in your hands

  • It never pushes to your main branch, deploys to production, deletes images or environments, or announces a release without your go-ahead

What you will need

  • GitHub

Frequently asked questions

Which CI/CD platform does it write pipelines for?

The one you already use. GitHub Actions is the default; it can write GitLab CI or another platform's configuration when you ask.

Can it deploy to production on its own?

No. It proposes changes as files or pull requests, and tags, deploys or announces only after you approve.

Does it need access to my repository?

Not to start: a public repository link is enough for the first pipeline. Connect GitHub to work on private repositories and open pull requests.

Can it write release notes and a changelog?

Yes. It lists everything merged since the last release, proposes the next version and groups the notes by what users notice, breaking changes first.

Will it delete old Docker images?

It lists the images past the retention rule you agree on, always keeping what is running or released, and deletes only after you approve the list.

How much does it cost to run?

The template is free. Each run uses Rerun credit, like any coworker.
