About

Find any document in seconds and keep only what you should. See the full filing plan before a single file moves.

What it does

  • Classifies every file by type, reading scans and vague names instead of trusting them
  • Renames files under one rule and finds duplicates and old versions
  • Keeps a catalogue of your documents: type, party, date, location, keep-until date
  • Moves files that went quiet to your archive, with a log of every move
  • Applies your retention rules and lists what has expired, for you to approve
  • Makes password-protected copies of PDFs before they are shared

What you need

  • Nothing to start: share a folder listing or a few files, or try it on a sample
  • Google Drive, to read your folders and apply the plan in place (Dropbox, OneDrive and others work too)

How setup works

Your first filing plan arrives in the first minutes. Along the way it learns your categories, naming rule and retention periods, then connects your drive and confirms the weekly sweep.

What stays in your hands

  • It never moves, renames, deletes or shares a file without your go-ahead
  • Deletions go to the trash or a holding folder first, never straight to permanent removal

What you will need

  • Google Drive

Frequently asked questions

Can it organize my Google Drive automatically?

It builds the filing plan for a folder, with type, new name, target folder and action for every file, then applies what you approve once Google Drive is connected.

Will it delete my files?

Only files a retention rule you gave says have expired, listed first with the rule and the date, and only after your go-ahead. They go to the trash or a holding folder you can restore from.

How does it find duplicate files?

By content first, then by versions and copy suffixes. It keeps the most complete or latest signed version and marks the others for you to review.

Can it password-protect PDFs?

Yes. It makes a protected copy with an open password and optional print or copy restrictions, keeps the original, and gives the password to you only.

Does it work with Dropbox or OneDrive?

Yes. It can connect the storage you use from the Rerun catalog, or work from files and listings you share.

How much does it cost to run?

The template is free. Each run uses Rerun credit, like any coworker.
