Track, Screen and Summarize Research Papers agent board

About

Stop drowning in alerts. Give it your research question and get back the papers worth reading first, each summarized and sourced.

What it does

  • Finds recent papers on your question in open sources (PubMed, Europe PMC, arXiv, bioRxiv, Crossref, OpenAlex) and ranks them with a reason for each
  • Summarizes articles, PDFs and attachments: question, design, results, limits, and what it changes for you
  • Builds your reference library from DOIs, PubMed IDs, arXiv IDs or links, with complete metadata and exports in BibTeX or RIS
  • Screens records for a systematic review against your eligibility criteria, keeps every decision with its reason and counts the PRISMA flow
  • Files the papers and links your team shares into the library, tagged by topic

What you need

  • Nothing to start: one sentence describing your research question
  • Slack, to turn the links your team shares in a channel into library entries (other chat tools work too)

How setup works

Your first ranked reading list arrives in the first minutes. Along the way it learns your scope, trusted sources and citation style, then sets the weekly watch you confirm.

What stays in your hands

  • It never cites a paper it has not read, at least the abstract
  • Unsure screening decisions are flagged for you, never silently excluded

What you will need

  • Slack

Frequently asked questions

Which databases does it search?

Open scholarly sources with public APIs: PubMed and Europe PMC, arXiv and bioRxiv, Crossref, OpenAlex and Semantic Scholar. It can also work from an export you bring from Scopus, Web of Science or Embase.

Can it screen articles for a systematic review?

Yes. You agree the eligibility criteria first, then it screens titles and abstracts, then full texts, and records each decision with the criterion that decided it, plus PRISMA flow counts. Unsure records are flagged for you.

Does it make up citations?

No. Metadata comes from the DOI, PubMed ID or arXiv ID, never from memory, and it says when it only had access to the abstract.

Can it export to Zotero or EndNote?

It exports your library in BibTeX or RIS, which Zotero, EndNote and Mendeley import.

Can it send me new papers every week?

Yes. A weekly watch is set during setup at the day and time you confirm, and only shows papers you have not seen yet.

How much does it cost to run?
