This template runs a prospecting agent for anyone selling to local service businesses: web designers, marketing agencies, SEO consultants and anyone who improves a business's online presence. It finds the businesses that most need your help and delivers them ready to contact.
What it does
The agent rotates through your list of cities and trades on Google Maps, then filters down to the businesses weak enough to be worth a pitch. It skips chains and franchises, scores each candidate against a grid, and checks every result against past runs so you never see the same business twice. The output is a ranked shortlist emailed to you, plus an append-only record in Google Sheets and contacts synced to HubSpot.
How it works
- On a weekly schedule, Tuesday at 8am, the agent picks the next city and trade from your rotation.
- It searches Google Maps within that scope and applies the chain and franchise heuristic to drop businesses that are not a fit.
- Each remaining business is scored on signs of a weak online presence, then checked against two deduplication keys so repeats from earlier runs are removed.
- The qualified businesses are ranked, written to your Google Sheet, pushed to HubSpot, and sent to you as a shortlist email through Gmail.
The qualification logic lives in a reusable skill that carries the rotation rule, the search scope, the scoring grid and the deduplication keys, so every run stays consistent as your target cities and trades grow.
